Lisa Tittemore Appointed to Boston Museum of Science Women in Science and Engineering Committee
Lisa M. Tittemore, a partner and chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice, has been appointed to the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Committee at Boston's prestigious Museum of Science.
Lisa is also a member of the Board of Advisors of the Museum of Science, which is one of the world’s largest science centers. The Board of Advisors is a group of community leaders and friends with a special interest in science, technology, and education who support the mission of the Museum of Science.
“We congratulate Lisa on her appointment as a member of the Board of Advisors to the Boston Museum of Science and as a member of the museum’s Women in Science and Engineering Committee," said managing partner Kerry L. Timbers. “Lisa is a champion of the mission of Boston’s Museum of Science and in particular as a supporter of science, technology, engineering and mathematics learning for girls."
The WISE initiative aims to serve as a catalyst of lifelong learning by encouraging girls to fill the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) pipeline with a focus on equity and inclusion; supporting women in the STEM pipeline by creating a community of professionals through networks, mentoring, and career development; and strengthening a woman’s agency around her own STEM learning to make informed decisions.
A member of Sunstein’s management committee and chair of its litigation group, Lisa serves as lead counsel in patent, trademark and copyright litigation in federal courts throughout the United States. She provides strategic counsel to clients on domestic and international issues and helps to guide the firm’s efforts in protecting and enforcing clients’ valuable brands and ideas.
