Sunstein is proud to announce that the firm has once again been named to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court’s “Pro Bono Honor Roll.”
Administered by the Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services, the “Pro Bono Honor Roll” recognizes law firms and individual attorneys who show an exceptionally strong dedication to providing free legal services.
“Since its founding, Sunstein has been committed to engaging with our communities by providing pro bono legal services,” said managing partner, Kerry L. Timbers. "We love what we do and are delighted to be recognized by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court for our firm's ongoing dedication to providing these services."
Sunstein’s tradition of community involvement is central to the firm’s mission. They provide counsel and support to individuals as well as non-profit organizations and community groups. Sunstein’s pro bono representation has included assisting with affordable housing, artists’, authors’ and inventors’ rights, environmental protection, civil rights, real estate and land use, family law, health care and health insurance coverage, landlord/tenant disputes, as well as working with universities and other non-profit organizations to protect their intellectual property.
