Sunstein and Partner Lisa Tittemore Earn Rankings in 2024 Chambers USA Guide

We are pleased to announce that the firm has been ranked in the 2024 edition of Chambers USA. For the second year in a row, the prestigious legal guide recognized Sunstein as being among the top firms in Massachusetts for Intellectual Property Law. Additionally, firm Partner and Litigation Chair Lisa M. Tittemore earned inaugural recognition among the state’s top IP practitioners.

“To be recognized by Chambers is a big deal to us. As a boutique IP firm, we are sometimes overlooked, but this honor serves as a testament to our dedication to client service and innovation,” said Sunstein Managing Partner Kerry L. Timbers. “We are also thrilled to congratulate Lisa, my partner and Sunstein’s litigation practice group chair, for her well-deserved recognition as one of the state’s top IP practitioners.”

The Chambers USA Intellectual Property category covers disputes related to patent, copyright, and trademark infringement, trade secrets, and non-contentious issues such as licensing and patent prosecution.

Chambers and Partners researchers shared in the 2024 guide that Sunstein has “impressive experience advising clients on patent and trademark prosecution, enforcement and general portfolio management,” and also highlighted the firm’s “notable expertise in life sciences and technology industry mandates.” One firm client remarked during the research process that Sunstein “learns, engages, listens and then works with our team to identify the best path forward." Another shared that the “willingness of the Sunstein team to engage in the details of complex technology and nuance is unique.” Additionally, one of Tittemore’s clients commented that she is “a problem-solver.”
