Paul Tanpitukpongse

Paul is an associate* at Sunstein. He concentrates in patent preparation and prosecution. Paul has over seven years of industry experience designing embedded control systems for a wide variety of industries including industrial and consumer products, locomotive controls, electrical transmission and distribution, high-speed motors, fuel cell systems, renewable energy, and military electric power.

Experience

  • Paul prepares and prosecutes patents in technology areas including computer hardware and software and Internet applications.
  • Prior to joining Sunstein, Paul worked as an electrical engineer at General Electric’s Global Research Center, Electric & Propulsions System Laboratory.
  • Paul also served as a patent consultant at a leading telecommunications and consumer products company.
  • He led several technology programs relating to advanced controls for managing residential building electric loads and renewable energy integration within General Electric’s SmartGrid® Initiative.
  • He also completed GE’s Edison Engineering Development Program, and rotated through four diverse technology laboratories as part of a distinctive engineering program to develop a broad understanding of critical technical and business needs of key GE businesses, including Medical, Industrial, Transportation, and Energy.
